This is an engaging documentary, told with self-deprecating humor and infused with warmth. Eddie Llama, a streetwise Brooklyn contractor, takes viewers inside his personal transformation from animal avoider to animal protector, and then to animal rights activist. His perspective began to change when a pretty girl asked him to take care of her cat for the weekend. Over time and after learning more about the mistreatment of animals in the fur industry, Eddie became a vegetarian. The final scenes of the film show him driving a van outfitted with a large screen TV showing film of the abuse of animals in the fur industry. He parks the van in front of poshy New York stores that sell fur. The scenes of animal abuse and the reactions of the by-standers, who had no idea of the way in which animals were tortured, are impressive.
